Solar wind turbulent spectrum from MHD to electron scales
O. Alexandrova, J. Saur, C. Lacombe +5
Turbulent spectra of magnetic fluctuations in the free solar wind are studied from MHD to electron scales using Cluster observations. We discuss the problem of the instrumental noi…
3D Hall MHD Modeling of Solar Wind Plasma Spectra
Dastgeer Shaikh, G. P. Zank
We present fully self consistent 3D simulations of compressible Hall MHD plasma that describe spectral features relevant to the solar wind plasma. We find that a spectru…
Whistler Wave Turbulence in Solar Wind Plasma
Dastgeer Shaikh, G. P. Zank
Whistler waves are present in solar wind plasma. These waves possess characteristic turbulent fluctuations that are characterized typically by the frequency and length scales that…
Self-consistent Simulations of Plasma-Neutral in a Partially Ionized Astrophysical Turbulent Plasma
Dastgeer Shaikh, G. P. Zank
A local turbulence model is developed to study energy cascades in the heliosheath and outer heliosphere (OH) based on self-consistent two-dimensional fluid simulations. The model d…
