The UHECR dipole and quadrupole in the latest data from the original Auger and TA surface detectors
Peter Tinyakov, Luis Anchordoqui, Teresa Bister +13
The sources of ultra-high-energy cosmic rays are still unknown, but assuming standard physics, they are expected to lie within a few hundred megaparsecs from us. Indeed, over cosmo…
UHECR arrival directions in the latest data from the original Auger and TA surface detectors and nearby galaxies
Armando di Matteo, Luis Anchordoqui, Teresa Bister +13
The distribution of ultra-high-energy cosmic-ray arrival directions appears to be nearly isotropic except for a dipole moment of order per cent. None…
HAWC measurements of the energy spectra of cosmic ray protons, helium and heavy nuclei in the TeV range
Juan Carlos Arteaga-Velázquez
Current knowledge of the relative abundances and the energy spectra of the elemental mass groups of cosmic rays in the TeV - PeV interval is uncertain. This situation prev…
Design and implementation of the AMIGA embedded system for data acquisition
The Pierre Auger Collaboration, A. Aab, P. Abreu +383
The Auger Muon Infill Ground Array (AMIGA) is part of the AugerPrime upgrade of the Pierre Auger Observatory. It consists of particle counters buried 2.3 m underground next to the…
