A method for detection of muon induced electromagnetic showers with the ANTARES detector
J. A. Aguilar, I. Al. Samarai, A. Albert +148
The primary aim of ANTARES is neutrino astronomy with upward going muons created in charged current muon neutrino interactions in the detector and its surroundings. Downward going…
A Fast Algorithm for Muon Track Reconstruction and its Application to the ANTARES Neutrino Telescope
ANTARES collaboration, J. A. Aguilar, I. Al Samarai +140
An algorithm is presented, that provides a fast and robust reconstruction of neutrino induced upward-going muons and a discrimination of these events from downward-going atmospheri…
ANTARES: the first undersea neutrino telescope
ANTARES Collaboration
The ANTARES Neutrino Telescope was completed in May 2008 and is the first operational Neutrino Telescope in the Mediterranean Sea. The main purpose of the detector is to perform ne…
The ANTARES Telescope Neutrino Alert System
M. Ageron, J. A. Aguilar, I. Al Samarai +149
The ANTARES telescope has the capability to detect neutrinos produced in astrophysical transient sources. Potential sources include gamma-ray bursts, core collapse supernovae, and…
