The JCMT BISTRO Survey: The magnetic field strength in the Orion A filament
Kate Pattle, Derek Ward-Thompson, David Berry +27
We determine the magnetic field strength in the OMC 1 region of the Orion A filament via a new implementation of the Chandrasekhar-Fermi method using observations performed as part…
First results from BISTRO -- a SCUBA-2 polarimeter survey of the Gould Belt
Derek Ward-Thompson, Kate Pattle, Pierre Bastien +111
We present the first results from the B-fields In STar-forming Region Observations (BISTRO) survey, using the Sub-millimetre Common-User Bolometer Array 2 (SCUBA-2) camera, with it…
The JCMT Plane Survey: First complete data release - emission maps and compact source catalogue
D. J. Eden, T. J. T. Moore, R. Plume +42
We present the first data release of the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT) Plane Survey (JPS), the JPS Public Release 1 (JPSPR1). JPS is an 850-um continuum survey of six fields…
The JCMT Gould Belt Survey: A First Look at IC 5146
D. Johnstone, S. Ciccone, H. Kirk +53
We present 450 and 850 micron submillimetre continuum observations of the IC5146 star-forming region taken as part of the JCMT Gould Belt Survey. We investigate the location of bri…
