Exploring Hilbert-Space Fragmentation on a Superconducting Processor
Yong-Yi Wang, Yun-Hao Shi, Zheng-Hang Sun +22
Isolated interacting quantum systems generally thermalize, yet there are several examples for the breakdown of ergodicity, such as many-body localization and quantum scars. Recentl…
Interplay between disorder and topology in Thouless pumping on a superconducting quantum processor
Yu Liu, Yu-Ran Zhang, Yun-Hao Shi +24
Topological phases are robust against weak perturbations, but break down when disorder becomes sufficiently strong. However, moderate disorder can also induce topologically nontriv…
Probing spin hydrodynamics on a superconducting quantum simulator
Yun-Hao Shi, Zheng-Hang Sun, Yong-Yi Wang +20
Characterizing the nature of hydrodynamical transport properties in quantum dynamics provides valuable insights into the fundamental understanding of exotic non-equilibrium phases…
Quantum simulation of topological zero modes on a 41-qubit superconducting processor
Yun-Hao Shi, Yu Liu, Yu-Ran Zhang +21
Quantum simulation of different exotic topological phases of quantum matter on a noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) processor is attracting growing interest. Here, we develop…
