Euclid: Quick Data Release (Q1) -- Dual AGN in low-mass galaxies
M. Mezcua, B. Laloux, M. Scialpi +164
Dual active galactic nuclei (AGNs) are expected in hierarchical galaxy evolution models, in which low-mass galaxies merge to build more massive ones. While observational evidence f…
Euclid: A blue galaxy population and a brightest cluster galaxy in the making in a MaDCoWS2 galaxy cluster candidate
A. Trudeau, A. H. Gonzalez, S. A. Stanford +152
We present an example cluster follow-up study with Euclid. Our target, a candidate cluster nicknamed the 'Puddle', was initially discovered by the Massive and Distant…
Three Hundred Quasars from the Couch: A first look at high-redshift quasar discovery with SPHEREx
Frederick B. Davies, Sarah E. I. Bosman, Arpita Ganguly +9
Photometric selection of luminous high-redshift () quasars is plagued by contamination from numerous low-mass Galactic stars, reddened lower-redshift quasars, as well as…
Infrared-Selected Active Galactic Nuclei in the Kepler Fields
Tran Tsan, Matthew Malkan, Rick Edelson +3
We utilized the Edelson and Malkan (2012) and Stern et al. (2012) selection techniques and other methods to identify AGN candidates that were monitored during the Kepler prime and…
