Lepton Flavour Violation in a Class of Lopsided SO(10) Models
Ernest Jankowski, David W. Maybury
A class of predictive SO(10) grand unified theories with highly asymmetric mass matrices, known as lopsided textures, has been developed to accommodate the observed mixing in the n…
A Monte Carlo Test of the Optimal Jet Definition
D. Yu. Grigoriev, E. Jankowski, F. V. Tkachov
We summarize the Optimal Jet Definition and present the result of a benchmark Monte Carlo test based on the W-boson mass extraction from fully hadronic decays of pairs of W's.
Optimal Jet Finder
D. Yu. Grigoriev, E. Jankowski, F. V. Tkachov
We describe a FORTRAN 77 implementation of the optimal jet definition for identification of jets in hadronic final states of particle collisions. We discuss details of the implemen…
Towards a standard jet definition
D. Yu. Grigoriev, E. Jankowski, F. V. Tkachov
In a simulated measurement of the -boson mass, evaluation of Fisher's information shows the optimal jet definition to be physically equivalent to the algorithm wh…
Electromagnetic suppression of the decay mu --> e+gamma
Andrzej Czarnecki, Ernest Jankowski
Due to large QED anomalous dimensions of the electric and magnetic dipole operators, the rate of the rare muon decay mu --> e+gamma is suppressed by the factor [ 1- 8 alpha/pi ln(L…
