Heliosphere Dimension and Cosmic Ray Modulation
P. Bobik, M. J. Boschini, C. Consolandi +8
The differential intensities of Cosmic Rays at Earth were calculated using a 2D stochastic Montecarlo diffusion code and compared with observation data. We evaluated the effect of…
Nuclear and Non-Ionizing Energy-loss of Electrons with Low and Relativistic Energies in Materials and Space Environment
M. J. Boschini, C. Consolandi, M. Gervasi +7
The treatment of the electron-nucleus interaction based on the Mott differential cross section was extended to account for effects due to screened Coulomb potentials, finite sizes…
Systematic Investigation of Solar Modulation of Galactic Protons for Solar Cycle 23 using a Monte Carlo Approach with Particle Drift Effects and Latitudinal Dependence
P. Bobik, G. Boella, M. J. Boschini +8
A propagation model of galactic cosmic protons through the Heliosphere was implemented using a 2-D Monte Carlo approach to determine the differential intensities of protons during…
Antiproton modulation in the Heliosphere and AMS-02 antiproton over proton ratio prediction
P. Bobik, M. J. Boschini, C. Consolandi +6
We implemented a quasi time-dependent 2D stochastic model of solar modulation describing the transport of cosmic rays (CR) in the heliosphere. Our code can modulate the Local Inter…
