Data Combinations Accounting for LISA Spacecraft Motion
Daniel A. Shaddock, Massimo Tinto, Frank B. Estabrook +1
LISA is an array of three spacecraft in an approximately equilateral triangle configuration which will be used as a low-frequency gravitational wave detector. We present here new g…
Operating LISA as a Sagnac interferometer
Daniel A. Shaddock
A phase-locking configuration for LISA is proposed that provides a significantly simpler mode of operation. The scheme provides one Sagnac signal readout inherently insensitive to…
Study of an electro-optic modulator capable of generating simultaneous amplitude and phase modulations
Benedict J Cusack, Benjamin S Sheard, Daniel A Shaddock +3
We report on the analysis and prototype-characterization of a dual-electrode electro-optic modulator that can generate both amplitude and phase modulations with a selectable relati…
Implementation of Time-Delay Interferometry for LISA
Massimo Tinto, Daniel A. Shaddock, Julien Sylvestre +1
We discuss the baseline optical configuration for the Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) mission, in which the lasers are not free-running, but rather one of them is used as…
