The compactified D-brane cylinder amplitude and T duality
J. X. Lu
In this paper, we address how to implement T duality to the closed string tree cylinder amplitude between a Dp brane and a Dp brane with . For this, we first com…
Intersecting non-SUSY -brane with chargeless 0-brane as black -brane
Hua Bai, J. X. LU, Shibaji Roy
Unlike BPS -brane, non-supersymmetric (non-susy) -brane could be either charged or chargeless. As envisaged in [hep-th/0503007], we construct an intersecting non-susy -bra…
Static, non-SUSY -branes in diverse dimensions
J. X. Lu, S. Roy
We give explicit constructions of static, non-supersymmetric -brane (for , where is the space-time dimensionality and including or D-instanton) solutions…
(1 + p)-Dimensional Open D(p - 2) Brane Theories
J. X. Lu
The dynamics of a Dp brane can be described either by an open string ending on this brane or by an open D(p - 2) brane ending on the same Dp brane. The ends of the open string coup…
((F, D1), D3) Bound State and Its T-dual Daughters
J. X. Lu, Shibaji Roy
In the previous paper [hep-th/9904129], we constructed a general explicit BPS solution for (F, D3) non-threshold bound state. By using the SL(2,Z) symmetry of type IIB string theor…
