CO excitation of normal star forming galaxies out to z=1.5 as regulated by the properties of their interstellar medium
E. Daddi, H. Dannerbauer, D. Liu +15
We investigate the CO excitation of normal star forming disk galaxies at z=1.5 using IRAM PdBI observations of the CO[2-1], CO[3-2] and CO[5-4] transitions for 4 galaxies, includin…
GOODS-HERSCHEL: star formation, dust attenuation and the FIR-radio correlation on the Main Sequence of star-forming galaxies up to z~4
Maurilio Pannella, David Elbaz, Emanuele Daddi +25
We use deep panchromatic datasets in the GOODS-N field, from GALEX to the deepest Herschel far-infrared and VLA radio continuum imaging, to explore, using mass-complete samples, th…
A Multiwavelength Consensus on the Main Sequence of Star-Forming Galaxies at z~2
G. Rodighiero, A. Renzini, E. Daddi +18
We compare various star formation rate (SFR) indicators for star-forming galaxies at in the COSMOS field. The main focus is on the SFRs from the far-IR (PACS-Herschel d…
Modeling the connection between ultraviolet and infrared galaxy populations across cosmic times
E. Bernhard, M. Béthermin, M. Sargent +5
Using a phenomenological approach, we self-consistently model the redshift evolution of the ultraviolet (UV) and infrared (IR) luminosity functions across cosmic time, as well as a…
