Emittance Preservation in an Aberration-Free Active Plasma Lens
C. A. Lindstrøm, E. Adli, G. Boyle +9
Active plasma lensing is a compact technology for strong focusing of charged particle beams, which has gained considerable interest for use in novel accelerator schemes. While prov…
Stabilization of the arrival time of a relativistic electron beam to the 50 fs level
J. Roberts, P. Skowronski, P. N. Burrows +5
We report the results of a low-latency beam phase feed-forward system built to stabilize the arrival time of a relativistic electron beam. The system was operated at the Compact Li…
Overview of the CLEAR plasma lens experiment
C. A. Lindstrøm, K. N. Sjobak, E. Adli +8
Discharge capillary-based active plasma lenses are a promising new technology for strongly focusing charged particle beams, especially when combined with novel high gradient accele…
EuPRAXIA@SPARC_LAB Design study towards a compact FEL facility at LNF
M. Ferrario, D. Alesini, M. P. Anania +117
On the wake of the results obtained so far at the SPARC\_LAB test-facility at the Laboratori Nazionali di Frascati (Italy), we are currently investigating the possibility to design…
