Clump-Scale Dust Attenuation in Epoch of Reionization Galaxies: Spatially Resolved Properties from FirstLight Simulations
Yurina Nakazato, Kosei Matsumoto, Akio K. Inoue +3
Understanding dust attenuation in galaxies at both integrated and spatially resolved scales is fundamental for accurately determining the physical properties of galaxies. Recent hi…
Sequential formation of supermassive stars and heavy seed BHs through the interplay of cosmological cold accretion and stellar radiative feedback
Masaki Kiyuna, Takashi Hosokawa, Sunmyon Chon
Supermassive stars (SMSs) and heavy seed black holes, as their remnants, are promising candidates for Supermassive Black Hole (SMBH) progenitors, especially for ones observed in th…
Towards a universal analytical model for Population III star formation: interplay between feedback and fragmentation
Boyuan Liu, James Gurian, Kohei Inayoshi +4
JWST has brought us new insights into Cosmic Dawn with tentative detection of the unique signatures of metal-free Population III (Pop III) stars, such as strong HeII emission, extr…
Triggered star formation on the borders of the Galactic HII region RCW 120
Annie Zavagno, Melanie Pomares, Lise Deharveng +3
To investigate the process of star formation triggered by the expansion of an HII region, we present a multi-wavelength analysis of the Galactic HII region RCW 120 and its surround…
