PKS 2155-304: Long-Term Optical Photometric Monitoring and Variability Analysis
J. L. Weiss, I. Andruchow, E. J. Marchesini +6
Through the detailed study of the optical flux behaviour in blazars over time, it is possible to infer the conditions responsible for their observed emission. PKS 2155-304, a BL La…
The ALHAMBRA survey : band luminosity function of quiescent and star-forming galaxies at by PDF analysis
C. López-Sanjuan, E. Tempel, N. Benítez +34
Our goal is to study the evolution of the band luminosity function (LF) since using ALHAMBRA data. We used the photometric redshift and the band selection magnitude p…
The ALHAMBRA survey : Estimation of the clustering signal encoded in the cosmic variance
C. López-Sanjuan, A. J. Cenarro, C. Hernández-Monteagudo +30
The relative cosmic variance () is a fundamental source of uncertainty in pencil-beam surveys and, as a particular case of count-in-cell statistics, can be used to estimate th…
Stellar populations of galaxies in the ALHAMBRA survey up to . I. MUFFIT: A Multi-Filter Fitting code for stellar population diagnostics
L. A. Díaz-García, A. J. Cenarro, C. López-Sanjuan +29
We present MUFFIT, a new generic code optimized to retrieve the main stellar population parameters of galaxies in photometric multi-filter surveys, and we check its reliability and…
