Pulsar Wind Nebulae and the Non-thermal X-Ray Emission of Millisecond Pulsars
K. S. Cheng, Ronald E. Taam, W. Wang
The non-thermal, non-pulsed X-ray emission of MSPs is investigated. As in young pulsars, MSPs emit a relativistic wind, which interacting with the interstellar medium and/or a bina…
Millisecond pulsar population in the Galactic center and high energy contributions
W. Wang
We propose that there possibly exists a population of millisecond pulsars in the Galactic center region. Millisecond pulsars (MSPs) could emit GeV gamma-rays through synchrotron-cu…
Contribution to diffuse gamma-rays in the Galactic center region from unresolved millisecond pulsars
W. Wang, Z. J. Jiang, K. S. Cheng
The diffuse gamma-rays in the Galactic center region have been studied. We propose that there exists a population of millisecond pulsars (MSPs) in the Galactic Center, which will e…
Pulsar Wind Nebulae and the X-Ray Emission of Non-Accreting Neutron Stars
K. S. Cheng, Ronald E. Taam, W. Wang
The general properties of the non-thermal non-pulsed X-ray emission of rotation powered pulsars are investigated in the context of a pulsar wind nebula model. An examination of the…
