Universal Broadband Linear Optical Transformations by an Interlaced Structured Integrated Photonic Processor
Ilya V. Kondratyev, Kseniia N. Urusova, Artem S. Argenchiev +8
Reconfigurable photonic integrated circuits enable applications in a wide range of fields. They represent a powerful platform for signal processing due to the ability to perform pa…
Observation of topological vortex solitons on disclinations
A. V. Kireev, K. Sabour, V. O. Kompanets +13
Vortex-carrying wave fields play a crucial role in photonics due to unusual propagation properties and interactions with matter, which enable numerous practical applications rangin…
Error mitigated variational algorithm on a photonic processor
O. V. Borzenkova, G. I. Struchalin, I. Kondratyev +3
Our study demonstrates successful error mitigation of indistinguishability-related noise in a quantum photonic processor through the application of the zero-noise extrapolation tec…
Time-domain Hong-Ou-Mandel interference of quasi-thermal fields and its application in linear optical circuit characterization
Anna Romanova, Konstantin Katamadze, Grant Avosopiants +6
We study temporal correlations of interfering quasi-thermal fields, obtained by scattering laser radiation on a rotating ground glass disk. We show that the Doppler effect causes o…
