Towards First Light for MICADO: Validation of the PSF-R service with real data
Matteo Simioni, Luca Cortese, Roland Wagner +12
MICADO, one of the ELT first-light instruments, will rely on point-spread-function reconstruction (PSF-R) to meet scientific requirements, especially for SCAO observations of targe…
The MICADO first light imager for the ELT: the PSF Reconstruction Software
Andrea Grazian, Fernando Pedichini, Matteo Simioni +14
The MICADO instrument for the ESO ELT will provide Adaptive Optics (AO) diffraction-limited NIR imaging and spectroscopy. A critical component of MICADO is the Point Spread Functio…
The MICADO first light imager for the ELT: the PSF Reconstruction Software
Andrea Grazian, Elisa Portaluri, Matteo Simioni +10
MICADO is the first-light camera of the ESO ELT, allowing NIR imaging and long-slit spectroscopy assisted by adaptive optics. MICADO is now entering its construction phase, and the…
The MICADO first light imager for the ELT: off-axis performance of PSF reconstruction
Matteo Simioni, Daniel Jodlbauer, Carmelo Arcidiacono +14
The highest scientific return, for adaptive optics (AO) observations, is achieved with a reliable reconstruction of the PSF. This is especially true for MICADO@ELT. In this present…
