The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS): 38 GHz detector array of bolometric polarimeters
John W. Appel, Aamir Ali, Mandana Amiri +41
The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS) experiment aims to map the polarization of the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) at angular scales larger than a few degrees. Ope…
CLASS: The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor
Thomas Essinger-Hileman, Aamir Ali, Mandana Amiri +41
The Cosmology Large Angular Scale Surveyor (CLASS) is an experiment to measure the signature of a gravita-tional-wave background from inflation in the polarization of the cosmic mi…
The Primordial Inflation Polarization Explorer (PIPER)
Justin Lazear, Peter A. R. Ade, Dominic Benford +25
The Primordial Inflation Polarization Explorer (PIPER) is a balloon-borne cosmic microwave background (CMB) polarimeter designed to search for evidence of inflation by measuring th…
Variable-delay Polarization Modulators for Cryogenic Millimeter-wave Applications
David T. Chuss, Joseph R. Eimer, Dale J. Fixsen +7
We describe the design, construction, and initial validation of the variable-delay polarization modulator (VPM) designed for the PIPER cosmic microwave background polarimeter. The…
