J. Abraham, P. Abreu, M. Aglietta +469
The surface detector array of the Pierre Auger Observatory consists of 1600 water-Cherenkov detectors, for the study of extensive air showers (EAS) generated by ultra-high-energy c…
The Pierre Auger Observatory IV: Operation and Monitoring
The Pierre Auger Collaboration, P. Abreu, M. Aglietta +493
Technical reports on operations and monitoring of the Pierre Auger Observatory
Advanced functionality for radio analysis in the Offline software framework of the Pierre Auger Observatory
The Pierre Auger Collaboration, P. Abreu, M. Aglietta +468
The advent of the Auger Engineering Radio Array (AERA) necessitates the development of a powerful framework for the analysis of radio measurements of cosmic ray air showers. As AER…
Precise Measurement of the Absolute Yield of Fluorescence Photons in Atmospheric Gases
AIRFLY Collaboration, M. Ave, M. Boháčová +28
We have performed a measurement of the absolute yield of fluorescence photons at the Fermilab Test Beam. A systematic uncertainty at 5% level was achieved by the use of Cherenkov r…
