Optically probing the detection mechanism in a molybdenum silicide superconducting nanowire single-photon detector
Misael Caloz, Boris Korzh, Nuala Timoney +7
We experimentally investigate the detection mechanism in a meandered molybdenum silicide (MoSi) superconducting nanowire single-photon detector by characterising the detection prob…
Temporal multimode storage of entangled photon pairs
Alexey Tiranov, Peter C. Strassmann, Jonathan Lavoie +10
Multiplexed quantum memories capable of storing and processing entangled photons are essential for the development of quantum networks. In this context, we demonstrate the simultan…
24-Hour Relativistic Bit Commitment
Ephanielle Verbanis, Anthony Martin, Raphaël Houlmann +3
Bit commitment is a fundamental cryptographic primitive in which a party wishes to commit a secret bit to another party. Perfect security between mistrustful parties is unfortunate…
Demonstration of EPR steering using single-photon path entanglement and displacement-based detection
T. Guerreiro, F. Monteiro, A. Martin +15
We demonstrate the violation of an EPR steering inequality developed for single photon path entanglement with displacement-based detection. We use a high-rate source of heralded si…
