Mid-Infrared Observations of Class I/Flat-Spectrum Systems in Six Nearby Molecular Clouds
Karl E. Haisch, Mary Barsony, Michael E. Ressler +1
We have obtained new mid-infrared observations of 65 Class I/Flat-Spectrum (F.S.) objects in the Perseus, Taurus, Chamaeleon I/II, Rho Ophiuchi, and Serpens dark clouds. We detecte…
Deficit of wide binaries in the eta Chamaeleontis young cluster
Alexis Brandeker, Ray Jayawardhana, Parandis Khavari +2
We have carried out a sensitive high-resolution imaging survey of stars in the young (6-8 Myr), nearby (97 pc) compact cluster around eta Chamaeleontis to search for stellar and su…
UBVRI Light Curves of 44 Type Ia Supernovae
Saurabh Jha, Robert P. Kirshner, Peter Challis +2
We present UBVRI photometry of 44 type-Ia supernovae (SN Ia) observed from 1997 to 2001 as part of a continuing monitoring campaign at the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory of the…
Constraints on Inner Disk Evolution Timescales: A Disk Census of the eta Chamaeleontis Young Cluster
Karl E. Haisch, Ray Jayawardhana, Joao Alves
We present new L' (3.8-micron) observations of stars in the nearby (~97 pc) young (~6 Myr) compact cluster around eta Chamaeleontis, obtained with the European Southern Observatory…
