Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spectroscopy of Electrons from Tritium Beta Decay and Kr Internal Conversion
Project 8 Collaboration, A. Ashtari Esfahani, S. Böser +54
Project 8 has developed a novel technique, Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spectroscopy (CRES), for direct neutrino mass measurements. A CRES-based experiment on the beta spectrum of…
The Project 8 Neutrino Mass Experiment
Project 8 Collaboration, A. Ashtari Esfahani, S. Böser +45
Measurements of the spectrum of tritium give the most precise direct limits on neutrino mass. Project 8 will investigate neutrino mass using Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spec…
Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spectroscopy Signal Classification with Machine Learning in Project 8
A. Ashtari Esfahani, S. Boser, N. Buzinsky +32
The Cyclotron Radiation Emission Spectroscopy (CRES) technique pioneered by Project 8 measures electromagnetic radiation from individual electrons gyrating in a background magnetic…
Project 8: Determining neutrino mass from tritium beta decay using a frequency-based method
P. J. Doe, J. Kofron, E. L. McBride +19
A general description is given of Project 8, a new approach to measuring the neutrino mass scale via the beta decay of tritium. In Project 8, the energy of electrons emitted in bet…
