Erratum: Detection of diffuse TeV gamma-ray emission from the nearby starburst galaxy NGC 253
C. Itoh, R. Enomoto, S. Yanagita +1
The CANGAROO-II telescope observed sub-TeV gamma-ray emission from the nearby starburst galaxy NGC 253. The emission region was extended with a radial size of 0.3-0.6 degree. On th…
A Search for sub-TeV Gamma-rays from the Vela Pulsar Region with CANGAROO-III
R. Enomoto, K. Tsuchiya, Y. Adachi +2
We made stereoscopic observations of the Vela Pulsar region with two of the 10 m diameter CANGAROO-III imaging atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes in January and February, 2004, in a…
Evidence of TeV gamma-ray emission from the nearby starburst galaxy NGC 253
C. Itoh, R. Enomoto, S. Yanagita +4
TeV gamma-rays were recently detected from the nearby normal spiral galaxy NGC 253 (Itoh et al., 2002). Observations to detect the Cherenkov light images initiated by gamma-rays fr…
Detection of diffuse TeV gamma-ray emission from the nearby starburst galaxy NGC 253
C. Itoh, R. Enomoto, S. Yanagita +2
We report the TeV gamma-ray observations of the nearby normal spiral galaxy NGC 253. At a distance of 2.5 Mpc, NGC 253 is one of the nearest starburst galaxies. This relative…
