Phase and Intensity Distributions of Individual Pulses of PSR B0950+08
T. V. Smirnova
The distribution of the intensities of individual pulses of PSR B0950+08 as a function of the longitudes at which they appear is analyzed. The flux density of the pulsar at 111 MHz…
The Asymmetry Coefficient for Interstellar Scintillation of Extragalactic Radio Sources
V. I. Shishov, T. V. Smirnova, S. A. Tyul'bashev
Comparing the asymmetry coefficients and scintillation indices for observed time variations of the intensity of the radiation of extragalactic sources and the predictions of theore…
Asymmetry Function of Interstellar Scintillations of Pulsars
V. I. Shishov, T. V. Smirnova
A new method for separating intensity variations of a source's radio emission having various physical natures is proposed. The method is based on a joint analysis of the structure…
International Colloquium "Scattering and Scintillation in Radio Astronomy" was held on June 19-23, 2006 in Pushchino, Moscow region, Russia
V. I. Shishov, W. A. Coles, B. J. Rickett +52
Topics of the Colloquium: a) Interplanetary scintillation b) Interstellar scintillation c) Modeling and physical origin of the interplanetary and the interstellar plasma turbulence…
