Broken selection rule in the quantum Rabi model
P. Forn-Díaz, G. Romero, C. J. P. M. Harmans +2
Understanding the interaction between light and matter is very relevant for fundamental studies of quantum electrodynamics and for the development of quantum technologies. The quan…
Heralded Entanglement of Arbitrary Degree in Remote Qubits
U. Schilling, C. Thiel, E. Solano +2
Incoherent scattering of photons off two remote atoms with a Lambda-level structure is used as a basic Young-type interferometer to herald long-lived entanglement of an arbitrary d…
Quantum Imaging with Incoherent Photons
C. Thiel, T. Bastin, J. Martin +3
We propose a technique to obtain sub-wavelength resolution in quantum imaging with potentially 100% contrast using incoherent light. Our method requires neither path-entangled numb…
Collapse-revivals and population trapping in the m-photon mazer
T. Bastin, E. Solano
We present a study of collapse-revival patterns that appear in the changes of atomic populations induced by the interaction of ultracold two-level atoms with electromagnetic caviti…
Numerical computation of one-photon mazer resonances for arbitrary field modes
T. Bastin, E. Solano
We present a novel approach for solving numerically one-dimensional scattering problems and apply it for computing the emission probability of an ultracold atom interacting with an…
