Spectroscopic analysis of RGB stars in nine open clusters
Saulo de Oliveira Cantanhêde, Alan Alves-Brito, Rodolfo Smiljanic +4
Stellar clusters are crucial tools for studying the age, spatial distribution, dynamics, kinematics, and chemical composition of different Galactic stellar populations. In this wor…
Double Red Giant Branch and Red Clump features of Galactic disc stellar populations with Gaia GSPspec
Alejandra Recio-Blanco, P. de Laverny, P. A. Palicio +4
To disentangle the different competing physical processes at play in Galactic evolution, a detailed chrono chemicalkinematical, and dynamical characterisation of the disc bimodalit…
Seismic and spectroscopic analysis of 9 bright red giants observed by Kepler
H. R. Coelho, A. Miglio, T. Morel +21
Photometric time series gathered by space telescopes such as CoRoT and Kepler allow to detect solar-like oscillations in red-giant stars and to measure their global seismic constra…
C/C of Kepler giant stars: the missing piece of the mixing puzzle
N. Lagarde, R. Minkeviciute, A. Drazdauskas +6
Despite a rich observational background, few spectroscopic studies have dealt with the measurement of the carbon isotopic ratio in giant stars. However, it is a key element in unde…
