Algebraic dependence of commuting elements in algebras
Sergei Silvestrov, Christian Svensson, Marcel de Jeu
The aim of this paper to draw attention to several aspects of the algebraic dependence in algebras. The article starts with discussions of the algebraic dependence problem in commu…
Algebraic curves for commuting elements in the q-deformed Heisenberg algebra
Marcel de Jeu, Christian Svensson, Sergei Silvestrov
In this paper we extend the eliminant construction of Burchnall and Chaundy for commuting differential operators in the Heisenberg algebra to the q-deformed Heisenberg algebra and…
Dynamical systems associated with crossed products
Christian Svensson, Sergei Silvestrov, Marcel de Jeu
In this paper, we consider both algebraic crossed products of commutative complex algebras A with the integers under an automorphism of A, and Banach algebra crossed products of co…
Connections between dynamical systems and crossed products of Banach algebras by
Christian Svensson, Sergei Silvestrov, Marcel de Jeu
Starting with a complex commutative semi-simple regular Banach algebra and an automorphism of , we form the crossed product of with the integers, where the latter ac…
