Late stages of the evolution of A-type stars on the main sequence: comparison between observed chemical abundances and diffusion models for 8 Am stars of the Praesepe cluster
L. Fossati, S. Bagnulo, R. Monier +5
Aims. We aim to provide observational constraints on diffusion models that predict peculiar chemical abundances in the atmospheres of Am stars. We also intend to check if chemical…
Theoretical analysis of the atmospheres of CP stars. Effects of the individual abundance patterns
S. A. Khan, D. V. Shulyak
Context. See abstract in the paper. Aims. See abstract in the paper. Methods. See abstract in the paper. Results. We present a homogeneous study of model atmosphere temperature str…
Stellar model atmospheres with magnetic line blanketing
O. Kochukhov, S. Khan, D. Shulyak
Model atmospheres of A and B stars are computed taking into account magnetic line blanketing. These calculations are based on the new stellar model atmosphere code LLModels which i…
Lithium and its isotopic ratio 6Li/7Li in the atmospheres of some sharp-lined roAp star
A. Shavrina, N. Polosukhina, S. Khan +10
The lines of lithium at 6708 A, and 6103 A, are analyzed in high resolution spectra of some sharp-lined and slowly rotating roAp stars. Three spectral synthesis codes - STARSP, ZEE…
