A prediction interval for a function-valued forecast model
Anestis Antoniadis, Xavier Brossat, Jairo Cugliari +1
Starting from the information contained in the shape of the load curves, we have proposed a flexible nonparametric function-valued fore-cast model called KWF (Kernel+Wavelet+Functi…
Nonparametric Regression Estimation Based on Spatially Inhomogeneous Data: Minimax Global Convergence Rates and Adaptivity
Anestis Antoniadis, Marianna Pensky, Theofanis Sapatinas
We consider the nonparametric regression estimation problem of recovering an unknown response function f on the basis of spatially inhomogeneous data when the design points follow…
Clustering functional data using wavelets
Anestis Antoniadis, Xavier Brossat, Jairo Cugliari +1
We present two methods for detecting patterns and clusters in high dimensional time-dependent functional data. Our methods are based on wavelet-based similarity measures, since wav…
Wavelet methods in statistics: Some recent developments and their applications
Anestis Antoniadis
The development of wavelet theory has in recent years spawned applications in signal processing, in fast algorithms for integral transforms, and in image and function representatio…
