Improved limits on Fierz Interference using asymmetry measurements from the UCNA experiment
Xuan Sun, E. Adamek, B. Allgeier +56
The Ultracold Neutron Asymmetry (UCNA) experiment was designed to measure the -decay asymmetry parameter, , for free neutron decay. In the experiment, polarized ultracold n…
A New Cryogenic Apparatus to Search for the Neutron Electric Dipole Moment
M. W. Ahmed, R. Alarcon, A. Aleksandrova +91
A cryogenic apparatus is described that enables a new experiment, nEDM@SNS, with a major improvement in sensitivity compared to the existing limit in the search for a neutron Elect…
Final results for the neutron -asymmetry parameter from the UCNA experiment
B. Plaster, E. Adamek, B. Allgeier +91
The UCNA experiment was designed to measure the neutron -asymmetry parameter using polarized ultracold neutrons (UCN). UCN produced via downscattering in solid deuterium w…
The neutron electric dipole moment experiment at the Spallation Neutron Source
K. K. H. Leung, M. Ahmed, R. Alarcon +90
Novel experimental techniques are required to make the next big leap in neutron electric dipole moment experimental sensitivity, both in terms of statistics and systematic error co…
