Superconducting series nanowire detector counting up to twelve photons
Zili Zhou, Saeedeh Jahanmirinejad, Francesco Mattioli +5
We demonstrate a superconducting photon-number-resolving detector capable of resolving up to twelve photons at telecommunication wavelengths. It is based on a series array of twelv…
Ultrafast nonlocal control of spontaneous emission
Chao-Yuan Jin, Robert Johne, Milo Y. Swinkels +4
Solid-state cavity quantum electrodynamics systems will form scalable nodes of future quantum networks, allowing the storage, processing and retrieval of quantum bits, where a real…
Waveguide photon-number-resolving detectors for quantum photonic integrated circuits
D. Sahin, A. Gaggero, Z. Zhou +8
Quantum photonic integration circuits are a promising approach to scalable quantum processing with photons. Waveguide single-photon-detectors (WSPDs) based on superconducting nanow…
Universal Response Curve for Nanowire Superconducting Single-Photon Detectors
Jelmer Renema, Giulia Frucci, Zili Zhou +6
Using detector tomography, we investigate the detection mechanism in NbN-based superconducting single photon detectors (SSPDs). We demonstrate that the detection probability unique…
