Intrinsic neutron background of nuclear emulsions for directional Dark Matter searches
A. Alexandrov, T. Asada, A. Buonaura +24
Recent developments of the nuclear emulsion technology led to the production of films with nanometric silver halide grains suitable to track low energy nuclear recoils with submicr…
Discovery of tau neutrino appearance in the CNGS neutrino beam with the OPERA experiment
OPERA Collaboration, N. Agafonova, A. Aleksandrov +139
The OPERA experiment was designed to search for oscillations in appearance mode, i.e. by detecting the -leptons produced in charged current interacti…
A facility to Search for Hidden Particles (SHiP) at the CERN SPS
SHiP Collaboration, M. Anelli, S. Aoki +233
A new general purpose fixed target facility is proposed at the CERN SPS accelerator which is aimed at exploring the domain of hidden particles and make measurements with tau neutri…
Limits on muon-neutrino to tau-neutrino oscillations induced by a sterile neutrino state obtained by OPERA at the CNGS beam
OPERA Collaboration, N. Agafonova, A. Aleksandrov +128
The OPERA experiment, exposed to the CERN to Gran Sasso beam, collected data from 2008 to 2012. Four oscillated Charged Current interaction candidates have been detecte…
