Tensor network characterization and mitigation of readout errors
Yuchen Guo, Shuo Yang
Readout errors are a major bottleneck to extracting reliable information from near-term quantum processors, especially when spatial correlations are non-negligible. We present a un…
Locally purified density operators for noisy quantum circuits
Yuchen Guo, Shuo Yang
Simulating open quantum systems is essential for exploring novel quantum phenomena and evaluating noisy quantum circuits. In this Letter, we address the problem of whether mixed st…
Quantum State Tomography with Locally Purified Density Operators and Local Measurements
Yuchen Guo, Shuo Yang
Understanding quantum systems is of significant importance for assessing the performance of quantum hardware and software, as well as exploring quantum control and quantum sensing.…
Noise effects on purity and quantum entanglement in terms of physical implementability
Yuchen Guo, Shuo Yang
Quantum decoherence due to imperfect manipulation of quantum devices is a key issue in the noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) era. Standard analyses in quantum information and…
Quantum error mitigation via matrix product operators
Yuchen Guo, Shuo Yang
In the era of noisy intermediate-scale quantum (NISQ) devices, the number of controllable hardware qubits is insufficient to implement quantum error correction (QEC). As an alterna…
