Discovery of an Extremely Luminous Sporadic Radio Pulsar
Fengqiu Adam Dong, Robert Main, Jackson D. Taylor +25
We have discovered PSR J2108+5055, an extremely luminous but sporadic mode-changing rotating radio transient (RRAT), with a period of 0.495 s using the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity…
Probing Variations in Earth's Ionosphere Using Pulsars
Yanqing Cai, Ziwei Wu, Weiwei Zhu +24
We present high cadence 10-minute rotation measure (RM) monitoring of PSR~J0814+7429 using the LOw-Frequency ARray, aiming to probe ionospheric variability along the pulsar line of…
No Measurable Changes in Radio and X-ray Emission Surrounding Glitches in the Young Pulsar PSR J2229+6114
Wenke Xia, Robert A. Main, Mason Ng +11
We present our first result from an ongoing pulsar glitch monitoring campaign at the Canadian Hydrogen Intensity Mapping Experiment (CHIME), in which we analyzed the radio and X-ra…
TRAPUM search for pulsars in supernova remnants and pulsar wind nebulae -- I. Survey description and initial discoveries
J. D. Turner, B. W. Stappers, E. Carli +18
We present the description and initial results of the TRAPUM (TRAnsients And PUlsars with MeerKAT) search for pulsars associated with supernova remnants (SNRs), pulsar wind nebulae…
