JWST unveils a dust-obscured supernova associated with a gamma-ray burst
B. Schneider, A. J. Levan, N. Sarin +22
Recent observations have challenged the duration-based classification of gamma-ray bursts (GRBs), making the detection of an associated supernova (SN) or kilonova crucial for concl…
Multi-wavelength Constraints on the Transient EP250905a
J. Quirola-Vasquez, P. G. Jonker, A. Levan +30
Fast X-ray transients (FXTs) are a diverse class of high-energy suggested origins, ranging from stellar explosions to compact object mergers. The Einstein Probe (EP) satellite disc…
The first near-infrared high-resolution échelle spectroscopy of the outflow in NGC 4151. A study of the clouds covering the Eye of Sauron
Francesco Gabriele Saturni, Riccardo Middei, Hermine Landt +4
We present the first high-resolution near-infrared spectroscopy of the nucleus of the nearby, well-known Seyfert galaxy NGC 4151 (the "Eye of Sauron"). Past studies of this source…
GRB 180728A and SN 2018fip: the nearest high-energy cosmological gamma-ray burst with an associated supernova
A. Rossi, L. Izzo, K. Maeda +29
The long GRB 180728A, at a redshift of , stands out due to its high isotropic energy of erg, in contrast with most events at redshif…
