Modelling the stellar soft-photon energy density profile of globular clusters
P L Prinsloo, C Venter, I Büsching +1
Recent observations by the Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) and the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) have revealed globular clusters (GC) to be sources of high-energy (HE…
Broadband Pulsations from PSR B1821-24: Implications for Emission Models and the Pulsar Population of M28
T. J. Johnson, L. Guillemot, M. Kerr +27
We report a 5.4σ detection of pulsed gamma rays from PSR B1821-24 in the globular cluster M28 using ~44 months of Fermi Large Area Telescope (LAT) data that have been reprocessed w…
Fermi LAT pulsed detection of PSR J0737-3039A in the double pulsar system
L. Guillemot, M. Kramer, T. J. Johnson +7
We report the Fermi Large Area Telescope discovery of gamma-ray pulsations from the 22.7 ms pulsar A in the double pulsar system J0737-3039A/B. This is the first mildly recycled mi…
H.E.S.S. Observations of the Binary System PSR B1259-63/LS 2883 around the 2010/2011 Periastron Passage
H. E. S. S. Collaboration, :, A. Abramowski +203
Aim. In this paper we present very high energy (VHE; E>100 GeV) data from the γ-ray binary system PSR B1259-63/LS 2883 taken around its periastron passage (15th of December 2010) w…
