An accurate strong lensing model of the Abell 2163 core
U. Rescigno, C. Grillo, M. Lombardi +6
Abell 2163 at is one of the most massive galaxy clusters known, very likely in a post-merging phase. Data from several observational windows suggest a complex mass…
Enhanced cluster lensing models with measured galaxy kinematics
P. Bergamini, P. Rosati, A. Mercurio +10
We present an improved determination of the total mass distribution of three CLASH/HFF massive clusters, MACS J1206.2-0847 (z=0.44), MACS J0416.1-2403 (z=0.40), Abell S1063 (z=0.35…
Ionising the Intergalactic Medium by Star Clusters: The first empirical evidence
E. Vanzella, G. B. Caminha, F. Calura +14
We present a VLT/X-Shooter spectroscopy of the Lyman continuum (LyC) emitting galaxy 'Ion2' at z=3.2121 and compare it to that of the recently discovered strongly lensed LyC-emitte…
Strong lensing models of eight CLASH clusters from extensive spectroscopy: accurate total mass reconstructions in the cores
G. B. Caminha, P. Rosati, C. Grillo +19
We carry out a detailed strong lensing analysis of a sub-sample of eight galaxy clusters of the CLASH survey, in the redshift range of , using exten…
