Constraining Cosmological Parameters with Observational Data Including Weak Lensing Effects
Hong Li, Jie Liu, Jun-Qing Xia +5
In this paper, we study the cosmological implications of the 100 square degree Weak Lensing survey (the CFHTLS-Wide, RCS, VIRMOS-DESCART and GaBoDS surveys). We combine these weak…
Catastrophic Photo-z Errors and the Dark Energy Parameter Estimates with Cosmic Shear
L. Sun, Z. -H. Fan, C. Tao +3
We study the impact of catastrophic errors occurring in the photometric redshifts of galaxies on cosmological parameter estimates with cosmic shear tomography. We consider a fiduci…
Galaxy Distribution as a Probe of the Ringlike Dark Matter Structure in the Galaxy Cluster Cl0024+17
Bo Qin, Huan-Yuan Shan, Andre Tilquin
In a galaxy cluster, galaxies are mostly collisionless particles in recent epoches. They resemble collisionless cold dark matter particles in some way. Therefore, the spatial distr…
On the determination of curvature and dynamical Dark Energy
J. -M. Virey, D. Talon-Esmieu, A. Ealet +2
Constraining simultaneously the Dark Energy(DE) equation of state and the curvature of the Universe is difficult due to strong degeneracies. To circumvent this problem when analyzi…
