Experimental quantum tomography of photonic qudits via mutually unbiased basis
G. Lima, L. Neves, R. Guzmán +5
We present the experimental quantum tomography of 7- and 8-dimensional quantum systems based on projective measurements in the mutually unbiased basis (MUB-QT). One of the advantag…
Manipulating spatial qudit states with programmable optical devices
G. Lima, A. Vargas, L. Neves +2
The study of how to generate high-dimensional quantum states (qudits) is justified by the advantages that they can bring for the field of quantum information. However, to have some…
Generation of decoherence-free displaced squeezed states of radiation fields and a squeezed reservoir for atoms in cavity QED
T. Werlang, R. Guzman, F. O. Prado +1
We present a way to engineer an effective anti-Jaynes-Cumming and a Jaynes-Cumming interaction between an atomic system and a single cavity mode and show how to employ it in reserv…
Field squeeze operators in optical cavities with atomic ensembles
R. Guzmán, J. C. Retamal, E. Solano +1
We propose a method of generating unitarily single and two-mode field squeezing in an optical cavity with an atomic cloud. Through a suitable laser system, we are able to engineer…
