A CUPID LiMoO scintillating bolometer tested in the CROSS underground facility
The CUPID Interest Group, A. Armatol, E. Armengaud +178
A scintillating bolometer based on a large cubic LiMoO crystal (45 mm side) and a Ge wafer (scintillation detector) has been operated in the CROSS cryogenic facil…
Novel technique for the study of pile-up events in cryogenic bolometers
A. Armatol, E. Armengaud, W. Armstrong +166
Precise characterization of detector time resolution is of crucial importance for next-generation cryogenic-bolometer experiments searching for neutrinoless double-beta decay, such…
Conceptual Design of BabyIAXO, the intermediate stage towards the International Axion Observatory
A. Abeln, K. Altenmüller, S. Arguedas Cuendis +123
This article describes BabyIAXO, an intermediate experimental stage of the International Axion Observatory (IAXO), proposed to be sited at DESY. IAXO is a large-scale axion heliosc…
R2D2 spherical TPC: first energy resolution results
R. Bouet, J. Busto, V. Cecchini +20
Spherical time projection chambers (TPC), also known as spherical proportional counters, are employed in the search for rare phenomena, such as light Dark Matter candidates. The sp…
