Circumbinary Components of Contact Binaries
O. Demircan, İ Bulut
The period changes of contact binaries obtained by the analysis of eclipse minima timing are found mostly chaotic in nature. However, they are representable by a few cyclic changes…
Where Are The Circumbinary Planets of Contact Binaries?
O. Demircan, İ. Bulut
Up to present date, no circumbinary planet around contact binaries were discovered neither by transit method nor by the minima times variation, although they are known having third…
Study of Eclipsing Binary and Multiple Systems in OB Associations: I. Ori OB1a - IM Mon
H. Bakis, V. Bakis, S. Bilir +5
All available photometric and spectroscopic observations were collected and used as the basis of a detailed analysis of the close binary IM Mon. The orbital period of the binary wa…
Absolute Dimensions and Apsidal Motion of the Young Detached System LT Canis Majoris
V. Bakis, I. Bulut, S. Bilir +3
New high resolution spectra of the short period (P~1.76 days) young detached binary LT CMa are reported for the first time. By combining the results from the analysis of new radial…
Absolute Dimensions and Apsidal Motion of the Eccentric Binary V731 Cephei
V. Bakis, M. Zejda, I. Bulut +7
A detailed analysis of new and existing photometric, spectroscopic and spatial distribution data of the eccentric binary V731 Cep was performed. Spectroscopic orbital elements of t…
