Cuplength estimates in Morse cohomology
Peter Albers, Doris Hein
The main goal of this paper is to give a unified treatment to many known cuplength estimates. As the base case, we prove that for -perturbations of a function which is Morse-B…
Orderability and the Weinstein Conjecture
Peter Albers, Urs Fuchs, Will J. Merry
In this article we prove that the Weinstein conjecture holds for contact manifolds for which is non-orderable in the sense of Eliashberg-Polterovich…
Square roots of Hamiltonian Diffeomorphisms
Peter Albers, Urs Frauenfelder
In this article we prove that on any closed symplectic manifold there exists an arbitrarily -small Hamiltonian diffeomorphism not admitting a square root.
Orderability, contact non-squeezing, and Rabinowitz Floer homology
Peter Albers, Will J. Merry
We study Liouville fillable contact manifolds with non-zero Rabinowitz Floer homology and assign spectral numbers to paths of contactomorphisms. As a consequence we prove t…
Exponential decay for sc-gradient flow lines
Peter Albers, Urs Frauenfelder
In this paper we introduce the notion of sc-action functionals and their sc-gradient flow lines. Our approach is inspired by Floer's unregularized gradient flow. The main result of…
