Nuclear-spin dependent parity violation in diatomic molecular ions
A. Borschevsky, M. Iliaš, V. A. Dzuba +3
Nuclear-spin-dependent (NSD) parity violating (PV) effects can be strongly enhanced in diatomic molecules containing heavy atoms. Future measurements are anticipated to provide nuc…
Experimental constraints on the polarizabilities of the 6s^2 1S0 and 6s6p 3P0 states of Yb
K. Beloy
We utilize accurate experimental data available in the literature to yield bounds on the polarizabilities of the ground and first excited states of atomic Yb. For the 6s^2 1S0 grou…
Determination of the 5d6s 3D1 state lifetime and blackbody radiation clock shift in Yb
K. Beloy, J. A. Sherman, N. D. Lemke +3
The Stark shift of the ytterbium optical clock transition due to room temperature blackbody radiation is dominated by a static Stark effect, which was recently measured to high acc…
Relativistic ab initio calculations of the P-odd interaction constant W_A in diatomic molecules
A. Borschevsky, M. Ilias, V. A. Dzuba +3
We present ab initio calculations of the parameter of the P-odd spin-rotational Hamiltonian for a variety of diatomic molecules, including the group--2 and --12 halides. The…
