An X-ray photometry system I: Chandra ACIS
H. -J. Grimm, J. McDowell, G. Fabbiano +1
We present a system of X-ray photometry for the Chandra satellite. X-ray photometry can be a powerful tool to obtain flux estimates, hardness ratios, and colors unbiased by assumpt…
Probing dust grain evolution in IM Lupi's circumstellar disc. Multi-wavelength observations and modelling of the dust disc
C. Pinte, D. L. Padgett, F. Menard +19
We present a panchromatic study, involving a multiple technique approach, of the circumstellar disc surrounding the T Tauri star IM Lupi (Sz 82). We have undertaken a comprehensive…
The c2d Spitzer spectroscopy survey of ices around low-mass young stellar objects, III: CH4
Karin I. Oberg, A. C. Adwin Boogert, Klaus M. Pontoppidan +4
CH4 is proposed to be the starting point of a rich organic chemistry. Solid CH4 abundances have previously been determined mostly toward high mass star forming regions. Spitzer/IRS…
The c2d Spitzer Spectroscopic Survey of Ices Around Low-Mass Young Stellar Objects: I. H2O and the 5-8 um Bands
A. Boogert, K. Pontoppidan, C. Knez +23
With the goal to study the physical and chemical evolution of ices in solar-mass systems, a spectral survey is conducted of a sample of 41 low luminosity YSOs using 3-38 um Spitzer…
