Roma-BZCAT: A multifrequency catalogue of Blazars
E. Massaro, P. Giommi, C. Leto +5
We present a new catalogue of blazars based on multi-frequency surveys and on an extensive review of the literature. Blazars are classified as BL Lacertae objects, as flat spectrum…
The 26 year-long X-ray light curve and the X-ray spectrum of the BL Lac Object 1E 1207.9+3945 in its brightest state
A. Maselli, P. Giommi, M. Perri +4
We studied the temporal and spectral evolution of the synchrotron emission from the high energy peaked BL Lac object 1E 1207.9+3945. Two recent observations have been performed by…
Swift XRT and UVOT deep observations of the high energy peaked BL Lac object PKS 0548-322 close to its brightest state
M. Perri, A. Maselli, P. Giommi +11
We present the results of a spectral analysis of 5 Swift XRT and UVOT observations of the BL Lac object PKS 0548-322 carried out over the period April-June 2005. The X-ray flux of…
The Intra-Night Optical Variability of the bright BL Lac object S5 0716+714
F. Montagni, A. Maselli, E. Massaro +3
We address the topic of the Intra-Night Optical Variability of the BL Lac object S5 0716+714. To this purpose a long term observational campaign was performed, from 1996 to 2003, w…
