Semiclassical theory of out-of-time-order correlators for low-dimensional classically chaotic systems
Rodolfo A. Jalabert, Ignacio García-Mata, Diego A. Wisniacki
The out-of-time-order correlator (OTOC), recently analyzed in several physical contexts, is studied for low-dimensional chaotic systems through semiclassical expansions and numeric…
Chaos signatures in the short and long time behavior of the out-of-time ordered correlator
Ignacio García-Mata, Marcos Saraceno, Rodolfo A. Jalabert +2
Two properties are needed for a classical system to be chaotic: exponential stretching and mixing. Recently, out-of-time order correlators were proposed as a measure of chaos in a…
Quantum Optimal Control: Landscape Structure and Topology
Martín Larocca, Pablo Poggi, Diego Wisniacki
The core problem in optimal control theory applied to quantum systems is to determine the temporal shape of an applied field in order to maximize the expectation of value of some p…
Quantum work for sudden quenches in Gaussian random Hamiltonians
Eric G. Arrais, Diego A. Wisniacki, Lucas C. Céleri +3
In the context of nonequilibrium quantum thermodynamics, variables like work behave stochastically. A particular definition of the work probability density function (pdf) for coher…
