Unveiling the nature of INTEGRAL objects through optical spectroscopy. VII. Identification of 20 Galactic and extragalactic hard X-ray sources
N. Masetti, P. Parisi, E. Palazzi +17
Within the framework of our program of assessment of the nature of unidentified or poorly known INTEGRAL sources, we present here spectroscopy of optical objects, selected through…
Milliarcsecond angular resolution of reddened stellar sources in the vicinity of the Galactic Center. II. Additional observations
A. Richichi, O. Fors, E. Mason
We present lunar occultation observations obtained in August 2006 with the recently demonstrated burst mode of the ISAAC instrument at the ESO VLT. The results presented here follo…
Unveiling the nature of INTEGRAL objects through optical spectroscopy. VI. A multi-observatory identification campaign
N. Masetti, E. Mason, L. Morelli +18
Using 8 telescopes in the northern and southern hemispheres, plus archival data from two on-line sky surveys, we performed a systematic optical spectroscopic study of 39 putative c…
High-redshift blazar identification for Swift J1656.3-3302
N. Masetti, E. Mason, R. Landi +9
We report on the high-redshift blazar identification of a new gamma-ray source, Swift J1656.3-3302, detected with the BAT imager onboard the Swift satellite and the IBIS instrument…
