Broadband indistinguishability from bright parametric downconversion in a semiconductor waveguide
T. Günthner, B. Pressl, K. Laiho +5
Parametric downconversion (PDC) in semiconductor Bragg-reflection waveguides (BRW) is routinely exploited for photon-pair generation in the telecommunication range. Contrary to man…
An Experimental Implementation of Oblivious Transfer in the Noisy Storage Model
C. Erven, Nelly Huei Ying Ng, N. Gigov +3
Cryptography's importance in our everyday lives continues to grow in our increasingly digital world. Oblivious transfer (OT) has long been a fundamental and important cryptographic…
Studying Free-Space Transmission Statistics and Improving Free-Space QKD in the Turbulent Atmosphere
C. Erven, B. Heim, E. Meyer-Scott +4
The statistical fluctuations in free-space links in the turbulent atmosphere are important for the distribution of quantum signals. To that end, we first study statistics generated…
Characterizing heralded single-photon sources with imperfect measurement devices
M. Razavi, I. Söllner, E. Bocquillon +3
Any characterization of a single-photon source is not complete without specifying its second-order degree of coherence, i.e., its function. An accurate measurement of suc…
