Flux upper limits for 47 AGN observed with H.E.S.S. in 2004-2011
H. E. S. S. Collaboration, A. Abramowski, F. Aharonian +217
About 40% of the observation time of the High Energy Stereoscopic System (H.E.S.S.) is dedicated to studying active galactic nuclei (AGN), with the aim of increasing the sample of…
Predicting the X-ray flux of evolved pulsar wind nebulae based on VHE gamma-ray observations
M. Mayer, J. Brucker, M. Holler +3
Energetic pulsars power winds of relativistic leptons which produce photon nebulae (so- called pulsar wind nebulae, PWNe). Their spectral energy distribution has a double-humped st…
Localising the VHE gamma-ray source at the Galactic Centre
The HESS Collaboration, F. Acero
The inner 10 pc of our galaxy contains many counterpart candidates of the very high energy (VHE; > 100 GeV) gamma-ray point source HESS J1745-290. Within the point spread function…
Spectrum and variability of the Galactic Center VHE gamma-ray source HESS J1745-290
H. E. S. S. collaboration, :, F. Aharonian
A detailed study of the spectrum and variability of the source HESS J1745-290 in the Galactic Center (GC) region using new data from the H.E.S.S. array of Cherenkov telescopes is p…
