A Trigger and Readout Scheme for future Cherenkov Telescope Arrays
G. Hermann, C. Bauer, C. Foehr +3
The next generation of ground-based gamma-ray observatories, such as e.g. CTA, will consist of about 50-100 telescopes, and cameras with in total ~100000 to ~200000 channels. The t…
The influence of the Alfvénic drift on the shape of cosmic ray spectra in SNRs
V. N. Zirakashvili, V. S. Ptuskin
Cosmic ray acceleration in SNRs in the presence of the Alfvénic drift is considered. It is shown that spectra of accelerated particles may be considerably softer in the presence of…
The Energy Spectrum of TeV Gamma-Rays from the Crab Nebula as measured by the HEGRA system of imaging air Cherenkov telescopes
F. Aharonian, The HEGRA Collaboration
The Crab Nebula has been observed by the HEGRA (High-Energy Gamma-Ray Astronomy) stereoscopic system of imaging air Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs) for a total of about 200 hrs during…
Energy Spectrum of TeV Gamma-Rays from Crab Nebula
A. Konopelko
The Crab Nebula has been observed by the HEGRA stereoscopic system of 4 imaging air Cherenkov telescopes (IACTs) for about 100 hours from 1997 September to 1998 March. The recent d…
